Information sought in Civic Holiday robbery

Windsor police are looking for information on a robbery that took place over the long weekend.

Officers were called shortly after 4 a.m. Monday to a business on Huron Church Road near Northwood Street for a robbery that had just taken place. Investigators believe the crime occurred around 3:55 a.m.

Someone entered the business with a knife and demanded money. The person then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a White male in his 30s, 5′ 11″ to 6′ in height, with a larger build. He was wearing a black sweater, shorts, black shoes, a black baseball cap, and a black bandana over his face. The man also had a red and black drawstring back and a possible cut under his right eye. There may also be a tattoo on the suspect’s left forearm.

Anyone in the area is asked to check security camera footage and contact police if anything unusual is seen for that day and time.
