Zero COVID-19 in-patients at WRH

It's been nearly 10 months since Windsor Regional Hospital had zero in-patients with COVID-19.

October 12, 2020 was the last time the hospital had no in-patients who'd tested positive for the coronavirus.

The hospital hopes to keep things this way and says ensuring the public aged 12 and up has both doses of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine is the way to do so.

"We can see the finish wire as to the vaccination campaign and we need to give it that last push individually and collectively to avoid further any further hospitalizations or deaths due to this horrendous virus," said hospital president and CEO David Musyj. "Do it for yourself and those around you."

Before October of last year, June 19, 2020 was the last time WRH had zero COVID-19 positive in-patients.
