Pupatello running for the Liberals in the next election

Sandra Pupatello has announced her intention to run as the Windsor-West candidate for the Federal Liberals in the next federal election.

"I want to be part of a government that aggressively pursues opportunities, encourages big dreams and can make them happen. That is how Windsor will succeed as we emerge from the pandemic and beyond. The same passions that drove me in my career so far, still drive me,” said Pupatello.

In the last federal election, she put up a good fight against incumbent Brian Masse. Masse won with 40 per cent of the vote while Pupatello received 36 per cent.

She served 16 years as a Windsor Member of Provincial Parliament where she served as the Minister of Industry and Trade for several years.

Last week, the Conservative Party of Canada named Anthony Orlando as its Windsor-West candidate.
