Two men facing attempted murder charges

The Windsor Police Service charged two people with attempted murder after a serious assault in Windsor over the weekend.

Around 10 a.m. Saturday, a Windsor police patrol officer found a 31-year-old man on Wyandotte Street West near Aylmer Avenue who had sustained serious facial injuries.

After an investigation, officers determined the victim was assaulted at a home on Caron Avenue. Police identified two suspects who were arrested and charged. The Windsor Police Service says this was not a random attack.
