London man killed in Windsor homicide

A Windsor man has been charged with first-degree murder after a London man was stabbed in Forest Glade Tuesday night.

Police were called to Sycamore Drive around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday for a possible fight. They found the victim with stab wounds that were believed to be life-threatening. The man was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. The victim has not been identified by police.

A second victim, an underage man, was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police identified a suspect and located him in the area of Esplanade Drive and Sherway Drive around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday. He was arrested without incident. Police say the suspect and victim were known to each other.

Harpreet Majhail, 36, is charged with first degree murder, uttering a death threat, and assault with a weapon. The charges have not been proven in court.

The Major Crime Unit continues to actively investigate the homicide. Investigators are looking for any information in relation to this incident. They are also requesting anyone in the area with surveillance cameras to check their footage from 9 p.m. to just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday for possible evidence.
