Indecent act reported in Amherstburg

Windsor police in Amherstburg are investigating after a man revealed himself to another man on the Cypher Systems Group Greenway trail.

Around 8:30 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the public trail for a report of an indecent act. The adult male victim reported that a suspect, unknown to him, exposed himself while walking on the trails.

Police quickly located the suspect and charged a 22-year-old man from Amherstburg with committing an indecent act in a public place.

Police believe the suspect has been attending the same area frequently prior to this incident and there is a potential for further victims. Investigators are requesting that anyone who may have had a similar encounter contact them.
