After cancelling the festival two years in a row the Art in the Park committee decided to go virtual.
The Rotary Club of Windsor is holding a virtual Art in the Park auction. It will feature 40 pieces from vendors who hoped to take part in the festival this year.
Organizers say they decided to hold the online event after many residents reached out to them to express their disappointment over another missed event.
Auction pieces will be displayed online starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 5. A silent auction will take place until June 6th at 6 p.m. The art pieces will go to the highest bidder in the auction.
People viewing the auction will also be encouraged to visit the exhibitors' online platforms to see other pieces or buy directly from the vendor.
The funds from the online auction will be used by the Rotary Club to support local and international projects.
