An east Windsor supermarket has been identified as a possible exposure point for COVID-19.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit announced Thursday afternoon that a positive case was linked to the FreshCo supermarket on Wyandotte Street East near Lauzon Road.
The health unit said that the potential for exposure to the virus is low, but has asked anyone who visited the store on certain days and times to self-monitor for symptoms, and contact their health care provider for further instructions if they feel ill.
The dates of possible exposure include March 23, 24, 26, and 28 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., plus April 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The health unit makes such locations public if it is determined there was a risk of public exposure, and if the health unit can't contact everyone who may have been exposed.
There is only one other possible exposure point that is active, the Tim Hortons on Walker Road in Oldcastle.
