Two people are looking for a place to stay after a house fire in south Windsor.
Windsor Fire and Rescue said crews were called around 5 p.m. Tuesday to a home on Lauzon Road north of County Road 42.
The fire was brought under control shortly after crews arrived, and was declared out by 5:30 p.m. Firefighters were on scene for some time afterward for ventilation and overhaul.
Two people were displaced, and one person was treated on the spot for a minor burn.
The cause was deemed accidental, and the fire began with a grease fire in the kitchen. The damage was estimated at $100,000.
