Man wanted for attempted murder

Windsor police are looking for a man wanted in connection to an attempted murder.

On Saturday, shots were fired in the area of Downing Street and Baldwin Avenue in the Fontainebleau area.

When officers arrived, they found a car that looked like it had been damaged by a shotgun. No injuries were reported.

Windsor police investigators identified two suspects. They say the suspects were in another vehicle and shot the victim's vehicle and then took off. Windsor police say the victim and suspects are known to each other.

One suspect was arrested on Sunday. An arrest warrant has been issued for the second suspect.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Robert Labrecque of Windsor for attempted murder and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

"The firearm used in the incident has not been located. As such, Robert Labrecque should be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach the suspect if located and call 9-1-1 immediately," Constable Talya Natyshak said in a news release issued by the Windsor Police Service.

Labrecque is described as a white man who is about 5'5" tall, approximately 130 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

Nathaniel Krug, 21, has been arrested and is facing charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

The charges have not been proven in court.
