A Leamington resident is facing charges after a break and enter on Oak Street on Sunday.
Ontario Provincial Police officers and the canine unit arrived on the scene shortly after midnight.
Officers secured the scene and began to search the property. That’s when a suspect tried to take off but was taken into custody without incident.
A 20-year-old is facing charges of possession of break-in instruments and break and enter with intent.
