Pyjama Fairy looking for donations

A Windsor family is collecting new pyjamas to extend their holiday tradition to people in the community.

Carrie Lee and her family started Lola's Pajama Fairy Project four years ago when their first grandchild was born and since then the project has really taken off.

Lee said they collect pyjamas in all sizes and they are also accepting cash donations for the campaign.

"Often we get a lot of the smaller sizes, children's sizes, but donations that we get cash wise we purchase women's and men's as well because we hope to provide it for the entire family," said Lee.

In 2019, the family helped to gather over 600 pairs of pyjamas and distributed them to the Hiatus House, Matthew House, the Welcome Centre for Women, and the Children's Aid Society.

"We're aiming to at least reach our goal or exceed it, at least we are hoping. So we are starting by wanting to donate to all of those charities that we did last year," said Lee.
