Suspect sought after shots fired

The Windsor Police Service is investigating after shots were fired at a home in the Ford City area.

Police were called to the home on High Street around 6:30 a.m. Thursday. It was reported that a man was seen in a backyard attempting to commit a theft. A neighbour intervened and the man took off in a black Chrysler Intrepid. The same man came back later with a gun and fired shots at the home.

No one was injured but there was damage to the home.

The suspect is described as a white man around 30-40 years old around 6'0" tall and around 200 pounds. He was driving a black Intrepid with a red-lettered license plate.

Police said they believe they located the car on Monday however the suspect is still outstanding.  The car was seized for evidence.  The Major Crime Branch continues to actively investigate.
