Windsor-Essex reported just a single additional case of COVID-19 on Saturday.
According to the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, the transmission source of the newest case is still under investigation.
The case count in the region now sits at 2,645 with 76 deaths. One new case was listed as resolved on Saturday, with the total number of recoveries at 2,493.
There remained one COVID-19 outbreak at an area retirement home and zero workplace or school outbreaks in the region.
Meanwhile, provincial health officials reported 435 new cases of the virus on Saturday with 131 of them coming from Toronto and 110 from the Peel region.
