A Windsor man is facing charges after allegedly sharing an intimate picture of an ex-girlfriend online without her consent.
Windsor police said the picture was taken with consent about 20 years ago, but it was just recently shared online.
The Windsor Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit began an investigation and was able to identify a suspect.
On Thursday, the police arrested a man and he was charged with distributing an intimate image without consent. The man is not being identified in an effort to protect the identity of the victim.
The Windsor Police Service is reminding people that sharing intimate images without consent is a crime.
