Caesars Windsor reopening after six month closure

Caesars Windsor plans to reopen its doors to invited guests soon.

If approved, the casino will open its doors on Thursday, October 8 to some Caesars Rewards members. Invited members will be notified by email and will be required to make a reservation in advance.

The casino will be open for limited slot machine use only based on provincial guidelines. Only 50 guests will be allowed in the casino at any time.

“With an emphasis on our enhanced health and safety protocols, this initial phase of reopening provides an opportunity to recall additional team members and reconnect with our Caesars Rewards customers,” said Kevin Laforet, president of Caesars Windsor. “We look forward to welcoming back more of our valued guests and team members when we are able to expand our capacity on property.”

All table games, restaurants, and hotel rooms remain closed.

Guests and employees will be required to wear a mask and increased cleaning and sanitization protocols have been implemented.
