OPP release composite of indecent act suspect

The Ontario Provincial Police has released a sketch of a person suspected of committing an indecent act at a Leamington conservation area.

It happened around 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 10. The complainant was walking along a path at the conservation area, off Talbot Street East, when they were approached by two men. One of them began an inappropriate conversation with the victim, then touched the victim indecently.

The suspect is described as a male of Hispanic or Columbian descent, about 23 to 25 years old, standing at approximately 5'6" tall with a medium build. He had olive skin and short dark hair. He was wearing a white baseball cap, blue jeans, and a pink polo shirt. He also spoke with an accent.

A composite sketch of the suspect was released by the OPP Friday afternoon, and the public is asked to take a look.

Constable Jim Root said the other suspect was described as a younger white male with long brown hair. Both were believed to have arrived at the location on bicycles.

Anyone with information on this incident, or who can identify either of the two men, is asked to call the OPP Leamington detachment at (519) 326-2544. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
