Pair of break-and-enter suspects sought in Amherstburg

Windsor police's Amherstburg detachment is looking for two suspects who broke into a local business.

Officers visited the business on Dalhousie Street near Rankin Avenue on Tuesday, after employees discovered some objects missing. The investigation revealed that a window had been broken to gain access to the establishment.

Investigators spoke to witnesses and examined surveillance footage, on which two men were seen in the business. It is believed the theft occurred around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, according to Sergeant Steve Betteridge, public information officer.

Images of the two men can be seen below, and the public is asked to take a look. The first suspect was seen wearing a face mask, the other was not.

Anyone who can identify the men in the photos, or provide any additional information on this incident, is asked to call the Windsor police's Amherstburg detachment at (519) 736-2252, or Crime Stoppers.
