Three new COVID-19 cases in Windsor-Essex

Windsor-Essex saw only a handful of new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.
The local health unit reported three new cases, bringing the regional case count to 2,545.
One of the latest cases is a local health care worker, one is from close contact and one is believed to be from community spread.
Four more people recovered from the virus over the past 24 hours. A total of 2,382 of the total cases are listed at being resolved.
There remained one COVID-19 outbreak at a retirement home in Leamington and one outbreak at a manufacturing plant in Tecumseh.
Provincial health officials reported 169 new cases on Saturday and processed over 28,600 tests.
