Canada's Drag Race Queens come to Windsor

A Windsor bar will soon host three of Canada's Drag Race Queen's in a special series of upcoming shows.

The Barbershop Bar on Howard Avenue and Lavender Productions will bring three performers to the city in separate events.

The show on Saturday, August 29, featuring Priyanka, is already sold out.

Priyanka is from Toronto. His name, when he's not performing, is Mark "Suki" Sukanan.

Sukanan is a graduate of the broadcasting program at Niagara College and started his career as a children's TV Host on YTV's "The Zone."

He was also a winner of the Canadian singing competition "The Next Star" and began his career in drag in 2017.

Priyanka is currently competing on Canada's Drag Race and also appeared in season one.

On Friday, September 18, The Barbershop Bar will host Lemon.

Lemon, also known as Christopher Elliott Baptista, is also from Toronto, but currently lives in New York City.

Lemon got her name from her "sour as hell" attitude.

Lemon was a contestant on Canada's Drag Race season one, and the current season of the show.

The shows will be held on The Barbershop Bar's patio and are all ages, although parental discretion is strongly advised.

As per regulations during the pandemic, masks must be worn at all times unless eating or drinking.
