Ontario Provincial Police say they have identified a suspect in a shooting in Leamington earlier this month.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 29-year-old Talita Isola Campbell of Windsor for attempted murder and other firearm-related offences in connection to the July 19 incident.
The OPP were called to the incident on Robinson Street around 1:30 a.m. A 39-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound was treated in hospital for a gunshot wound.
Photos of Campbell provided by the OPP are below. She is described as a black female, 5' 4", with a medium build. She was seen wearing glasses, black pants, a grey shirt, and her hair tied back in a ponytail. She has been known to use the alias of Samantha Smith or Sam Smith and has connections in the Windsor and Toronto areas.
Do not approach the suspect yourself as she is considered by the OPP to be armed and dangerous. If you see her or know of her whereabouts, call 911 immediately.
