OPP investigating racial graffiti in Lakeshore

Ontario Provincial Police are working to find the person responsible for spray-painting a racial slur at a Lakeshore school.

It happened in the overnight hours of Monday morning between St. William's Elementary School and Ste. Anne's High School. According to Constable Jim Root, someone used blue spray-paint to spell out a racial slur on the walkway between the two school buildings.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone with information on this incident or who may have witnessed what happened.

Anyone with information that can help find the culprit should call the OPP at (519) 728-1810, or 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
