Windsor police are investigating a homicide after a woman died from a gunshot wound Wednesday night.
When police arrived in the Northway Avenue and Northwood Street area around 11 p.m., they found a vehicle with gunshot holes in it. Inside was a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nearby, officers also found a man who also had been shot. He was treated for his wounds in the hospital.
After canvassing the area and talking to potential witnesses, investigators now believe the shooter may have driven away from the scene.
