Crash leads to drug charges

Two men are facing drug charges after a four-vehicle collision in downtown Windsor Sunday morning.

Police were called to the crash at Ouellette Avenue and Wyandotte Street around 10 a.m.

The driver of one of the vehicles was arrested for impaired driving by drug. The passenger of the same car was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both males were in possession of illicit drugs.

Two people are facing charges in relation to the investigation. A 26-year-old male from Windsor is charged with impaired driving and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. A 29-year-old from Windsor is also facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
