Windsor man facing firearm charges

A Windsor man is facing a number of firearm-related charges after an investigation by Windsor police.

Around 9 p.m. on Friday, officers from the emergency services unit stopped a vehicle on Armanda Street near Matchette Road in south Windsor.

A passenger in the vehicle is alleged to have had an illegal loaded gun and cocaine. It was later determined the gun had been reported stolen during a break and enter in the fall of 2019.

Richard Zoldi, 42, is charged with a number of firearm-related charges as well as possession of a controlled substance and parole violations. None of the charges have been proven in court.
