Transit Windsor for essential trips only

Transit Windsor is taking new measures to try to keep drivers and passengers safe.

Passengers are being asked to only use the bus for essential trips. All passengers will be asked to board the bus at the rear door with the exception of the elderly, passengers with mobility issues, and persons in a wheelchair.

The transit service is also planning a reduced schedule although details have not been finalized. The Windsor-Detroit Tunnel Bus will not be operating.

The Windsor International Transit Terminal is also closed until at least April 5, 2020.

The Town of Tecumseh is also making changes to its transit service. They will no longer be accepting fares to limit interaction between the driver and the public.  The Town continues to request that residents heed the request to socially distance and avoid any unnecessary travel.
