Windsor Public Library cancels programming

The Windsor Public Library is cancelling all programming and room rentals until April 30 to help combat the spread of COVID-19 in the community.

"We are taking these necessary and precautionary measures as outlined by our public health organizations to help limit contact with the public,” stated Councillor Rino Bortolin, chair of the WPLB. “At this point, it’s just outreach, programs and room rentals affected, but we are considering what closures may look like in the next few days. This is a fast moving issue and we will make sure to communicate any further decision as soon as possible."

The Windsor Public Library bookmobile, FRED, will also be off the road until April 30.

Staff will contact all affected groups and refunds will be issued when necessary.
