Police looking for input on policing priorities

The Windsor Police Service is seeking public input on its new strategic business plan.

Under the Police Service Act, every police board is required to create a new business plan every three years.

The Windsor Police Service Board will hold five public sessions to give people the opportunity to have a say in policing priorities for the next three years.

Residents in Amherstburg and Windsor are encouraged to attend the sessions and provide their input.

The meetings will be held at the following times and locations:

  • Saturday, February 29th at 1pm - 3pm Libro Centre, 3295 Meloche Road, Amherstburg
  • Monday, March 2nd at 5pm - 7pm MacKenzie Hall, 3277 Sandwich Street West
  • Thursday, March 5th at 5pm - 7pm Constable John Atkinson Memorial Community Centre, 4270 Alice Street
  • Monday, March 9th at 5pm - 7pm The Windsor Family Credit Union, 8787 McHugh Street
  • Wednesday, March 11th at 6:30pm - 8:30pm Windsor Water World, 400 Wyandotte Street East
