Express fall to Five 120-116

The Windsor Express were defeated by the Sudbury Five 120-116 on Saturday.

The Sudbury Five lead 31 to 21 at the end of the first quarter. The Five continued with a three-point lead with just over four minutes left in the second quarter and headed into halftime with a five-point lead of 58-53. The Express managed to gain a three-point lead with just over one minute left in the quarter and ended the third quarter 93-90. With just under seven minutes left in the quarter, the game was tied 104-104. The Five took the lead to end the fourth quarter at 120-116.

Chris Jones led Windsor with 26 points and six rebounds, while Sam Muldrow added 22 points and nine rebounds. Derrick Nix put up 16 points and four rebounds.

The Express will face the KW Titans on Friday at 7 p.m.
