Windsor police seek armed robbery suspect (PHOTO)

Windsor police are turning to the public for help to find a suspect in an armed robbery over the weekend.

Officers were called around 11:15 p.m. Saturday to a convenience store on Walker Road near Ledyard Avenue, on a report of an alarm. Police said they learned that a suspect had entered the business, pulled out what appeared to be a black firearm, and demanded money.

The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and there were no reports of injuries.

Police have released an image of the suspect taken from a security camera, shown below, and are asking the public to take a look. The suspect is described as a white male, 5'8" to 6'0" tall, wearing a grey sweater with the hood pulled up, black pants, black boots, dark glasses, a black mask, and gloves with neon at the tip of the hands.

The weapon used in the incident has not been found, and police are urging the public not to approach the suspect, but to call 911 immediately if you see him.
