Officers were called around 11:15 p.m. Saturday to a convenience store on Walker Road near Ledyard Avenue, on a report of an alarm. Police said they learned that a suspect had entered the business, pulled out what appeared to be a black firearm, and demanded money.

The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and there were no reports of injuries.
