Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts coming to Detroit

Some of the most iconic rock bands are bringing "The Stadium Tour" to Comerica Park in Detroit next summer.

The concert date is August 20, 2020.

Tickets for the tour, featuring Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, and Poison, go on sale Friday, December 13 at 10 a.m. at Tickets.com, the Comerica Park box office, and Tigers.com/rock. Prices start at $49.50.

Coming off their Netflix biopic, "The Dirt," Motley Crue has reunited, and enjoyed a 350 per cent increase of streams of their music across all platforms. Most of those fans have never seen Motley Crue perform live.

The original lineup of Poison, Bret Michaels, C.C. DeVille, Bobby Dall, and Rikki Rocket will play Comerica Park.

In addition to tickets going on sale on December 13, Michaels will also receive the Humanitarian of the Year award on CW Network that night.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Joan Jett & The Blackhearts is no strangers to stadium shows having toured with The Who, Green Day, and the Foo Fighters in recent years. Considered an originator, the band has had several top 40 singles, including "Bad Reputation," "I Love Rock 'N' Roll," "I Hate Myself For Loving You," and "Crimson and Clover."

Finally, Def Leppard has sold more than 100-million albums worldwide with two Diamond Awards in the U.S. Also, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, the band has amassed 2.5-billion streams since releasing their music digitally a year ago. Over the past year, the group has closed out a sold-out worldwide tour.

Throughout their career, Def Leppard has released favourites like "Rock of Ages," "Pour Some Sugar on Me," and "Foolin."
