Man stabbed during robbery in downtown Windsor

Windsor police are looking for a suspect after a man was stabbed and robbed of jewellery in downtown Windsor.

Police said they were called to the area of Ouellette Avenue and Ellis Street around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. The adult male victim reported he had been stabbed and robbed before the suspect took off eastbound on Dufferin Place.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a black winter coat with fur around the hood, a dark shirt, dark pants, and black shoes with white soles.
