Fire and rescue crews remain on scene at a Tecumseh business, where a crash sent one person to hospital.
Tecumseh Fire and Rescue said it happened around 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Underground Specialties on Walker Road south of Olympia Drive. Initial reports indicated that a dump truck struck the building, but Ontario Provincial Police reported that a load shifted on a tractor-trailer, with the cargo area damaging the facade.
The business was evacuated as a precaution. One person who was inside the building was sent for medical assessment. Tecumseh Fire said there was no entrapment.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour has been contacted and it is investigating.
