The Town of Tecumseh's Youth Advisory Committee is hosting its third annual Youth Career Fair this week.
The event in the auditorium at L'Essor High School at 13605 St. Gregory's Road is open to all secondary school parents and their families.
The career fair is Thursday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
It provides youth with an opportunity to meet professionals in different sectors of employment, and learn what education and skills they will need to enter an employment field.
"There are so many emerging technologies and innovative careers that students may not know about, or have information on what skills are required," said Mayor Gary McNamara.
Manager of Committee and Community Services. Christina Hebert added, "we hope that after attending the Youth Career Fair, students will have greater knowledge for their career paths."
