Spitfires top Wolves 4-3

The Windsor Spitfires defeated the Sudbury Wolves 4-3 at the WFCU Centre on Sunday.

Tyler Angle scored the first game of the game for the Spitfires 3:47 into the first period. The Wolves' Kalle Loponen answered back with a power play goal. Connor Corcoran and Egor Afanasyev scored two power play goals for Windsor.

Windsor's Thomas Stevenson scored 4:36 into the third period. David Levin responded with a power play goal. Blake Murray scored the final goal of the game 19:18 into the frame.

Spitfires' goalie Xavier Medina saved 20 out of 23 shots on net.

The Spitfires will face off against the Soo Greyhounds at the GFL Memorial Gardens on Saturday. Puck drops at 7:07 p.m.
