Services set for Windsor stabbing victim

A Windsor man killed after being stabbed will be remembered by friends and family this weekend.

Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for 20-year-old Justin Greenwood, who died Saturday after being stabbed in the area of Tecumseh Road West and McKay Avenue. Windsor police said Thursday that three people are being held in connection with the incident.

Justin is being remembered for his devotion to family and his two young children.

He is survived by his partner Hailey Cote and children Peyton and Prestlynn. He is also survived by his mother Terra Lynn Greenwood, his grandparents Jeff Salter and Geralyn Greenwood, brother James Dylan Greenwood, and sister Chloe Sarah Johanne Greenwood. Justin is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and co-workers.

Visitation for Justin will take place on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., then 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home on Dougall Avenue in Windsor. There will be another visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Monday, followed by a celebration of life at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.

Two GoFundMe pages have been set up to help pay funeral costs as well as provide financial assistance for Justin's two young children.
