UPDATE: Police confirm more arrests in fatal stabbing

Windsor police have provided more details concerning arrests made in connection with a fatal stabbing.

Constable Talya Natyshak said one of the suspects was arrested around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at an undisclosed location and is charged with first-degree murder. This suspect is a juvenile, though, and is not being identified under the Ontario Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Police also arrested 19-year-old Muntather Al-Mehmodi of Windsor and charged him with accessory after the fact to murder in the death of 20-year-old Justin Greenwood.

Greenwood died after being attacked Saturday afternoon in the area of Tecumseh Road West and McKay Avenue. A third man, a 19-year-old male, is already facing murder charges concerning this investigation.

The Major Crimes Division is still investigating this incident. Police would still like to speak to anyone who may have information on this crime.
