Windsor Police Services has renewed a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Mohamud Abukar Hagi, the suspect in a 2007 shooting death.
Luis Acosta-Escobar was shot to death in the early morning hours of December 22 outside a nightclub on Pelissier Street.
At the time, Hagi would have been 24-years-old. He is 36 now.

In April, Windsor police teamed up with the BOLO program, which stands for "Be On the Look Out." The program uses social media, leaflets, billboards, and busboards to amplify the search for suspects in serious crimes.
The investigation into Acosta-Escobar's murder has taken investigators to Fort McMurray, Alberta, and Minneapolis, Minnesota and the campaign has targeted the Somali community in Edmonton and Toronto specifically.
The reward, $50,000 from BOLO and $10,000 from Windsor police, has been extended to April 16, 2020.
