The Windsor Spitfires fell 3-1 to the Rangers in Kitchener on Friday.
The Spitfires dropped far behind in the first period with Kitchener scoring three goals early in the first period. The Rangers held onto a 3-0 lead throughout a scoreless second frame, but Jean-Luc Foudy scored to put Windsor on the board 9:26 into the third. However, Kitchener held onto their lead to win with a two-goal advantage.
Spitfires goaltender Xavier Medina made 26 saves out of 29 shots on net.
The Spitfires return home on Saturday to battle the Sarnia Sting at 7:05 p.m.
