Police took 12 commercial trucks off the road Wednesday in a safety inspection blitz.
Windsor police said its Traffic Enforcement Branch was working with the Ontario Provincial Police and officials from the Transportation Ministry.
They inspected 30 vehicles, and 12 were placed "out of service" because they needed repairs.
Officials seized the plates on two trucks, and a total of 35 charges were laid.
