There has been a mea culpa from a Green Party candidate running in Windsor West.
After criticizing Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau for photos showing him in blackface on three separate occasions, Quinn Hunt took to Twitter last Wednesday to admit he too may have acted controversially.
I think that this is a good time to point out that I have said and done racist, sexist, and homophobic things. I am truly sorry for all of them.
They are a weight that hangs from my shoulders everyday. I wish I had never said/done the things I did; now I can only try to atone. https://t.co/LCxw2ceYZt— Quinn Hunt for Windsor West (@HuntQuinn) September 19, 2019
If I ever said/did anything racist, sexist, or homophobic that offended you I am sorry, please contact me about it so that I can try to understand how my words/actions have effected you/others.
