Federal NDP leader to host town hall in Windsor Friday

Another federal party leader will pay a visit to Windsor-Essex this week.

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will make a stop in Windsor Friday afternoon when he participates in a public town hall meeting at the Fogolar Furlan Club, according to a tweet from Windsor West NDP candidate Brian Masse. Masse will co-host the meeting with Windsor-Tecumseh NDP candidate Cheryl Hardcastle and Essex candidate Tracey Ramsey. No additional details have been released by the NDP or any of the local campaigns.

Singh will be the second federal party leader to drop by Windsor this week. Liberal leader Justin Trudeau held a rally with supporters on Tuesday night at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts.
