Dog bite incident under investigation

Windsor police are seeking information after a woman was bitten by a dog.

According to police, around 8 a.m. Sunday they got a report of two dogs fighting at the Remington Booster Park dog park.

During the incident, a woman sustained a minor injury from being bitten by an unknown dog. A second female, believed to be the owner, left with the dog before police arrived. Police said they are unsure if the woman knew they had been called before she left the area. They add that she left on foot and it's believed that she is from the general area where the incident took place.

The unknown female is described as being white and in her 40s or 50s. The dog is described as a bulldog mix, 80 to 85 pounds, off white with black patches. Police are looking to speak with the woman to get more information about to the dog.
