Charges are pending after a young cyclist was struck in LaSalle.
Constable Terry Seguin told BlackburnNews a teen was crossing Malden Road near Reaume Road on their bike around 5 p.m. on Monday and was hit by a white Ford SUV.
He said the injuries are significant but the victim is in stable condition. Police said they are not releasing the exact age or gender of the victim, as the person is under the age of 18.
Both lanes of Malden Road were closed between Monty Street and Reaume Road for about four hours while officers investigated the serious crash.
