OPP tracking stolen go-karts

Ontario Provincial Police are asking for help in locating go-karts that were stolen in Tecumseh.

The theft happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday at a business on Brendan Lane at North Talbot Road in Oldcastle, according to Constable Jim Root. A black utility trailer containing three go-karts, tools, and equipment was taken.

The empty trailer was recovered around 9 a.m. on Broadway Street in LaSalle. The contents are missing.

The OPP has provided photos of the go-karts taken and is asking the public to take a look. Anyone with information on their location or on the incident itself is asked to give the OPP a call at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online.
