A graduate of Walkerville Collegiate Insitute has won the "Dancer of the Year" title following a two-week stint in Las Vegas.
The 18-year-old won the title last year as well with Velocity Dance and travelled to a number of different American and Canadian cities.
After winning the title this month against 25 other dancers, Velocity Dance announced George Brothers would join their "Pro" program.
Brothers began his training ten years ago at the Edmunds Towers School of Dance, and his teachers quickly realized his potential.
"We are so proud of George Brothers. His hard work and passion for dance continues to take him to new levels," said Dianne Edmunds, owner of Edmunds Towers School of Dance. "He is a true inspiration to younger dancers."
Last summer, Brothers was featured in a music video and has danced alongside performing artists like Jordan Fisher, Madison Beer, and Now United.
Brothers is looking forward to next year representing Windsor and other local dancers on the North American stage as part of the Velocity Pro program.
