UPDATE: Life-threatening injuries after Windsor crash

Windsor police are still investigating a crash on Grand Marais Road Sunday night.

The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. in the area of Grand Marais Road East and Meldrum Road, involving a van and a motorcycle.

Constable Talya Natyshak said when officers arrived on the scene, they saw a black motorcycle with heavy damage and a Chevrolet Orlando van with damage to the driver's side. Two people were travelling in the van.

The driver of the motorcycle was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, with no update on their condition as of Monday afternoon. The occupants of the van were not hurt.

The Windsor Police Service's Accident Reconstruction Unit and Forensic Identification Unit processed the scene, and the collision remains under investigation.
