The Ontario Provincial Police are looking for a driver after a serious hit and run in Essex.
Police closed Highway 3 between County Road 8 and Victoria Avenue for more than eight hours after a head-on crash involving two vehicles that happened around noon on Friday. Two people in one vehicle were taken to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses said the driver of the other vehicle ran away before police arrived on scene.
Police want to speak with more witnesses.
