Usually, the City of Windsor's Peace Fountain is operating at this time of year, but not this year.
The city is waiting for new parts to arrive from Germany.
It hired a contractor to refurbish the fountain for its annual debut in Coventry Gardens, but when the work started, the contractor discovered the pumps had suffered significant wear.
The parts are not expected to arrive until June, so it may not be up and running until July.
The Peace Fountain is the only international floating fountain in the world and can propel water 70 feet into their air.
