UPDATE: Two early morning fires in Windsor-Essex (VIDEO)

Firefighters were kept busy after two fires broke out Saturday morning, one of them causing $7 million in damage and the other one believed to have been intentionally set.

In Windsor, fire crews battled a blaze at a commercial building on Glengarry Avenue near Wyandotte Street East.

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services said the fire started around 5 a.m. in the restaurant portion of the building. The fire took a little less than an hour to get under control with hot spots remaining for several hours after.

According to Windsor Fire's Twitter page, the fire was intentionally set and they are working with Windsor Police to investigate further.

Three residential tenants were displaced as a result and no injuries were reported. Total damage is estimated at around $600,000.

Meanwhile, the Leamington Fire Department worked on a blaze at an agricultural building on Mersea Road 7 in Leamington.

According to a tweet by the fire department, the flames broke out shortly before 5 a.m. Crews from the Kingsville Fire Department arrived at the scene to help with the blaze.

It took nearly eight hours for crews to get the fire under control. No injuries are reported and damage is estimated around $7 million. The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate.
